Step by step, Spring project!
Good afternoon everybody! Are you ready for Easter? Any last minute cards or projects that you need to get finished off or are you completely stuck as to what to do? Well as always, we have the answer! This morning the class have been busy, busy, busy working on the ''Our Feathered Friends'' project ready for Easter! Using an everyday object that you can find lying around the house, we have catered to those who perhaps can't eat, or don't like, chocolate. So what do you give somebody, at Easter, that doesn't like chocolate?
A gorgeously decorated Egg box of course, containing real eggs or any other kind of present or trinket that you like!

So how to I make an egg box like this one?
Start off by painting the inside and outside of your egg box white. Whilst it's drying you can make the card but we will get to that next. Once the box is dry you can place the floral serviettes (and they can be any design) over the box. To secure the serviette in place you use decoupage allround matt glue, you don't need to use a lot of it, just enough so it doesn't move about. And it's as simple as that really!

And the card?
The card is standard sized, with a detachable bookmark on the front, perfect for spring time reading!
First off using the mnf fold board score your A4 card on line number 4 and line number 6, crease both scorelines to make a valley and mountain fold, cut some decorative paper 14 x 20.5 and cut it in half, then stick one to the front and one to the back of the card, (see image below)

One piece of decorative paper to be stuck on the left hand side and one on the right. |

For the insert we have used an A5 piece of paper and stamped a simple greeting onto it. (see below)
Last but not least we stuck on a pale green feather onto the corner of the card. This is from a Spellbinders Die cut set, which are now also available to buy!
So that's a step by step of how to re-create the ''Our Feathered Friends'' Easter project!!
