Stars, Trees & Those Odd Bits?!

Classes and Inspiration!

Good afternoon readers, we hope you all had a fantastic bank holiday and that you're enjoying the lovely burst of sunshine!
As you've probably realised our title today is about the classes this week but it is also about a magnificently funky card that one of our brilliant ladies has made for us in order to give you some inspiration where needed! We'll talk about that first and then perhaps we'll give you  little insight as to this weeks in class project!

This wonderful bright and very funky card was made by our wonderful Janine, who's used a simple but effective matting and layering technique so that everything really blends together. The stamps are Whimsey Stamps, designed by Kenny K.

Also it would make a fantastic theme for any little superstars you know or any older ones!

But the ideas don't stop at just cards... oh no! What about if you're throwing a karaoke night or having a disco? You could use the stars on any invitations you sent out, with a little caption e.g ''Become a star at our karaoke night!'' or any other occasion like perhaps a fancy dress party? The only limitation is your own imagination!

The stamp used could be put on anything and because there are a range of stamps in the same art style but with different images, you don't have to use just the one! Does one of them remind you of your best friends, your sister, your mom? Or perhaps one reminds you of yourself! All you have to do is arrange the stamps in a certain way and colour them in and you've got yourself a friendship card!

So now that we've got the cogs turning, we'll give you a little insight into this weeks classes!

Chocolate trees and scraps of papers long since seen,
Who knows what this small rhyme could mean?
Placed together in a fashionable order?
What a wonderful looking, delicate border!
This rhyme does tell, that of cards there are two,
On Thursday all will be revealed to you!
