All Is Revealed and More!
Good Afternoon everybody! We are bringing you the latest and greatest from The Treasury today, and unfortunately we don't have many photos for you today but we do have some and we also have a quick walk through about each card we made this week.
As you can tell from today's title, this week's theme is 'In The Garden'. We have made 2 lovely cards for the ladies this week, and we hope that you like them as well.
The first card we made this week was used using a scrap piece of brown card left over from the ''Chocolate Trees'' card that we made a few weeks ago.

How to make this card:
1. You will need a piece of brown card 29.5 cm x 10cm. Place the card landscape on your MNF fold board and score on line 3 and line 6. Line 6 will be the half way mark and line 3 will form the mountain fold. Cut a piece of patterned paper/card 9.2cm x 14.4cm. Matt and layer this piece to the biggest section of your card, this will be the bottom of your finished card.
2. Next punch a scalloped circle out of cream card and distress using 'Scattered Straw' distress ink, then cut a piece of gold mirror card 10cm x 2cm and another piece of patterned paper 9cm x 1.5cm and matt and layer them together in this order: Scalloped circle, Gold card, patterned paper. Use foam pads to attach this piece roughly 4cm from the bottom of the card. This will be your stopper.
3. To make the topper you will need a piece of Gold mirror card 11.5cm x 8cm, (this will be the backing for your topper) you need to round the corners of the card using a corner punch. Next cut a piece of cream card 11.5cm x 8cm and die cut a Joy! Crafts 'Frame Rectangle', then distress using 'Scattered Straw' distress ink.
4. The little garden shed topper is cut and decopauged to make a lovely 3D garden shed. The little bird has been die cut using gold mirror card and is from the Marianne Design 'Fence' die (6002/0146). Everything has been matt and layered and placed onto the mountain fold only sticking the bottom part of the topper so that it forms an aisle when folded back.
So moving on to the second card! This card was designed by our lovely Janine and is entitled 'Fairies At The Bottom Of The Garden'. It's an interesting card with an unusual fold however still lovely.

1. You will need a A4 piece of patterned card, cut down to 29.7cm x 15cm. Place on MNF board landscape and score on line 1 and 2, then turn the card round 180 degrees and score on line 5 giving it a good sharp crease. Take that fold and put it up against the but bar and score on line 5 again.
2. With a piece of brown card die cut 2 fences from the Marianne Design 'Fence' Die (LRO205). In between score line 2 and 3, use gold sparkle embossing powder and stamp the word 'Believe', which is from the Stampendous Classic Christmas collection, Remember stamps are for life, not just for christmas!
3. With pale green pearlised card cut out the Anja Die (LRO236) solid background and lace fore front. Our Fairy topper of choice has been sandwiched between these and this will make your topper.
4. Using foam pads attach your fences to above score mark number 3 one on either side of the card. With a piece of card cut off from earlier measure 2.5cm x 15cm and score it at 2.5cm from one end. Attach this piece to the card with the 2.5 scored piece above the 4th score line. Then attach the topper to the strip of card using double sided tape.
5. Flowers have been punched from a Woodware daisy punch and Hobby House clear gems have been stuck in the center of each flower. These have then been attached to the card and the topper as decoration, and you can arrange them however you like.
We have decorated the card using left over strips from earlier but this is optional.
So, how did the ladies enjoy the class? Well here are some photos from the classes :)
That's all for today's blog but watch out tomorrow for new stock updates and enjoy!
