Getting creative!
The ladies have made 2 more fabulous card this week and they've really got to have a play with our second card! Once again we've mixed things up in this week's workshops, and the results are well worth it!
The first card (as seen below) has a unique and distinctive look that really gives it character! Using Viva Decor Glitter Paste and spiders web ribbon, along with a Chloe sentiment stamp, we've designed this card to really make an impression!
The Glitter Paste was used over a Colour Box stencil (available online next week, in store now) to create the effect in both corners of the card, you can see how clearly it shows up and it's easy to use!!
How to use Glitter Paste:
You will need a craft pallet knife. Scoop out a small amount on the end of the knife and spread out your paste thinly in one direction only, holding the pallet knife at a 45 degree angle.
Here are a few pictures of the ladies making the first card:
The second card was another unique card that is personal to you. The card below is a fabulous card to make and even if you made it 50 different times, it will always turn out different!
So what do you need? Well apart from assorted paper and card, we used a Tim Holtz Manequinn die to decorate, and on our chosen backing paper backing, we used a Couture Creations "Haute Couture" Embossing Folder.
Every single one of our ladies made a different dress using the papers that we provided and every one was different, but they all look fabulous! Here are a few that we hope you'll like...
So that's all for this week but we hope you're inspired once again by our ladies and by our wonderful designers. If so, we'd like to see what you make, so feel free to post on our Twitter or our Facebook or you can email us directly at: the-treasury@btconnect.com or even pop down and visit us!
Thanks for reading,
Ann-Marie :)
