The Christmas spirit.
Good Afternoon everyone! First off we would like to explain why there was no posting yesterday. Here at The Treasury we have started to put out some of our Christmas products, this will give you plenty of time to prepare however many cards you'll be making this year and all of our products are at a very good price!!
Anyway, moving on, it's Thursday and therefore we are bringing you all the updates from this week's workshops!
The ladies made two stunning cards this week, one using Graphic 45 papers and the other using 3D Stamp - Paint, how fancy is that!
Here is the first card the ladies made...
The shiny/shimmering effect was made by stamping using Viva Decor, 3D Stamp-Paint. for this card we used a blue and a green. Both stamps on the card are Kaiser Craft stamps, the butterflies are from a set of assorted small wooden shapes/animals etc. The roses come in a pack of 10, prices vary as do sizes and colours :)
Unfortunately we won't have to time to write up a full how to this week but hopefully we should have video tutorials being set up as soon as possible.
When making this card or using the stamp - paint, ensure that you know where you are going to stamp and that you only use a light coating of the paint, (it's best to use a finger dorber for this). The paint dries quickly and once it is on your card it won't come off, so ensure you wipe the paint off your stamp straight away when you are finished with it or if you want to use it again, apply more paint first (but keep the coat as light as possible, your image will still come out clearly).
The second card the ladies made was designed using Graphic 45 papers and some small roses.
The die on the left hand side of the card is a Sue Wilson die from the Italian Collection.
So we hope that you like these card and feel free to leave a comment below!!
We will leave you with some picture of te ladies hard at work as always :)
